One-Artist-Show

by Greg Potter

November, 2025

Greg Potter is a narrative painter whose work blends whimsy, introspection, and social commentary through anthropomorphic animal characters. His art invites viewers into imaginative worlds where raccoons rescue forest creatures, rabbits stroll through parks, and beagles pilot WWII bombers—each scene a metaphor for freedom, identity, and resilience. Greg’s artwork will be displayed at SALI from November 5 – 29, 2025.

Come and meet Greg during the SALI Open House on Friday November 14, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Visit the gallery during regular hours, Wednesday – Saturday from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

SALI at WAMMfest

On Saturday, August 17th several SALI members participated in the WAMMfest summer festival in Greenwood. Among other things they had a large canvas where people could add their artistic touch to an evolving painting. Lots of people participated, especially the kids, some coming back more than once. Click on the link below to see the beautiful masterpiece they created.
